Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Preparation
The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) is a highly sought after certification for those engineers seeking recognition for their education, experience, and knowledge in the highly competitive field of Systems Engineering. Obtaining a CSEP is not easy, but that is what makes it so valuable. You have to demonstrate your real world experience via a lengthy application and three references. Then you need to pass a two-hour, 120-question, multiple-choice exam. This course helps prepare potential candidates for this demanding process by becoming familiar with the latest version of the INCOSE SE Handbook, which is the basis for the examination. Students will also learn the requirements for a successful CSEP application.
Upon completion of this class, the participant will:
Have a good grasp of the fundamentals of Systems Engineering, including the understanding of systems engineering management and systems engineering processes, from the INCOSE perspective
Be able to apply the INCOSE SE Handbook to a project
Understand INCOSE CSEP application process
Be well prepared for the CSEP exam
Students should have at least 5 years work experience in Systems Engineering and/or related engineering disciplines. Although not a requirement the student is encouraged to join INCOSE. INCOSE members will be able to get the latest information on the CSEP process and INCOSE System Engineering Handbook, via INCOSE Connect.
