Crossplane for Operators
Overview
Crossplane is an open source Kubernetes extension that transforms Kubernetes clusters into universal control planes. In this course attendees will explore the features and functions of Crossplane and see how it can be used to manage any type of API-based resource through standard Kubernetes APIs.
Crossplane for Operators teaches platform teams how to create new abstractions and custom APIs with the power of Kubernetes policies, namespaces and role based access control, bringing all of your non-Kubernetes resources together under the control of a single Kubernetes control plane.
In this hands-on two day course, operators will work with many of the key aspects of Crossplane: deploying, updating and backing up Crossplane; working with Managed Resources as well as building Compositions; using and creating Composition Functions; using extra resources and more.
Upon completion, attendees will be ready to begin working with and contributing to production-grade Crossplane solutions.
