How to Enroll
UMBC Training Centers accepts multiple forms of payment including checks, credit card payments, student loans, and company purchase orders. Additionally we work with many regional employers’ tuition reimbursement plans. Please contact your HR representative or Training Coordinator to see if our programs are eligible with your plan.
Online
Registering online with a credit card is the easiest and fastest way to register and secure your enrollment. UMBC Training Centers accept Visa, American Express, Discover and Mastercard.
To register for a course online, simply click the Register button on the course description and you will be prompted to complete your registration. UMBC Training Centers utilizes industry leading payment processing solutions from Authorize.net to ensure that all transactions are secure.

Fax
First download and complete the registration form. You can fax your completed Registration Form to (443) 692-6602 for processing.

Discounts
In the event a student is eligible for multiple discounts, only the highest discount will be applied.
10% Student and Alumni Discount
UMBC students and alumni, students who have previously taken a public training course with UMBC Training Centers are eligible for a 10% discount. Use the coupon code ALUMNI10 when checking out to receive this discount. Asynchronous courses are excluded from this offer.

Early Registration Discount
Students who register at least three weeks in advance of the start of a course are eligible to use the code EARLY10 for a 10% discount, capped at $250. For courses over $2,500, students can apply the code EARLY250.
Professional Association Discounts
UMBC Training Centers provides discounts to professional associations whose membership can benefit from our training services. Training Centers currently provides discounts to members of the following professional associations:
- Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA)
- Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A student is eligible to receive a 100% refund of paid registration fees only if UMBC Training Centers receives a notice of cancellation at least 14 calendar days prior to the class start date for classes or the exam date for exams. Notifications must be made in writing either by email to: [email protected]

Students who cancel registrations after a program or class start, will not qualify for a refund. For reschedules made within 14 calendar days from the course start date, students must reschedule immediately for a current, published course, up to a maximum of six months from the original enrollment date of the class. A student may only reschedule a maximum of two times within the six month window.
If a student does not attend a scheduled course without the required prior notification, the funds will be forfeited, and rescheduling will not be allowed.
