Overview

MCP 101 is a half-day course that provides a concise overview of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a new open standard for connecting AI assistants to real-world data and tools. As agentic AI systems move into production, interoperability becomes essential—MCP bridges this gap by linking models with content repositories, business systems, and development environments. Through focused lecture, discussion and demonstrations, participants learn how MCP enables AI systems to overcome data silos and deliver more accurate, context-aware results.

  2. Building MCP Clients and Servers
  3. MCP Tools and Resources
  4. Prompt Templates and Workflows
