Nick Anthis

Nick is a Senior Cyber Instructor for UMBC Training centers. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer after 21 years of service. After retiring, he has worked as an instructor on several different contracts, and has authored more than 50 courses, both for the offensive side of networks and the defensive side, and everything from basic IT fundamentals, to advanced network exploitation, ICS exploitation, as well as several courses in forensic examination. Teaching is his passion, and what he loves doing. He incorporates many techniques in his teaching, from games like “Kahoot!” to challenges and competitions, and plenty of hands-on activities in his classes.
