Center for Leadership and Innovation at UMBC Training Centers Honored as 2023 Chapter Volunteer of the Year by The Arc Maryland
Baltimore, MD – May 23, 2023 – The Center for Leadership and Innovation (CLI) at UMBC Training Centers has been awarded the distinguished 2023 Chapter Volunteer of the Year by The Arc Maryland. This recognition highlights CLI’s unwavering commitment to The Arc’s mission of equal rights and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This award acknowledges CLI’s remarkable contributions in advancing inclusivity and fostering a more equitable society.
Upon accepting the award, the Executive Director of CLI, Marc Kolp said, “The most powerful work we do is with non-profits, we are happy to partner with The Arc Maryland in support of the MCE Program and we’re pleased that many other Arc Chapters and others within the I/DD space have availed themselves of our services. We love that partnership and we will continue to support this community.”
